It has been months since my last post. End of year caught up with me and this is one of the first times it a long time I have had the inspiration to stamp. What way to start again than to start with the colour throwdown. I downloaded on of the free digi images and printed it on to very vanilla. I feel inspired now to get back to my stamping and to have that little bit of me time. Which has been difficult lately as the kids are on 7 weeks holidays and it pretty much been raining the whole time. We live in Australia - Queensland so we are not use to the rain this time of year we are use to heat (lots of it ) and days at the beach. Hope you enjoy. What beautiful spring colours for this challenge. New stampin up cat in Australia here, so Of course they are having a clearance sale. The stamp I used was Bloomin with beauty. Liked this set for quite some time. The paper was Raspberry Tart again from Stampin up.. Finally got to use the stamping on ribbon technique. Use the nesstabilities for the circles. I love how this card all came together. Enjoy

Colour Throwdown 104

Missed a couple of weeks. Feeling very unmotivated until I thought I would have a quick look in my favourite craft shop. I found this gorgeous stamp from Penny Black. And the lady at the store said it would be great used with copic markers, I told her I already had some then she showed me the copic markers card to use. That paper brings out the copics to another level. The card stock is all from stampin up and the paper is from Cosmic cricket the de lovely. Thanks for looking. Now to find some motivation with the ironing.

I am very happy to be able to participate in this challenge. This embossing folder is from stampin up and have never used in so I embossed in onto to regal rose cardstock and sponged regal rose onto it. The background stamp is from hero arts and I just clear embossed the background. To finish it off and I used the blue brads form American Crafts and tied it all off the red ribbon. Wow it has been ages. It's funny how quickly time can rush by and you dont know why. It been weeks since I made a card so it was lovely to come back to my desk and enjoy. The stamp set is from hero arts. And all the cardstock is from Stampin up. My daughters did not agree with me about the frame around the little boy and girl. However I said it is my card so I can do whatever I want :)

Very spring. I love this stamp set set from Stampin up 5th Avenue Floral. Really don't use it enough. Can't stop using my copic markers. That gorgeous ribbon is from American Crafts. Have to go my daughter just spilt cold tea all over my untidy craft table.

It has been a very long time since I have done a Mojo Monday. I try to do one challenge a week so lately I have been doing a colour challenge. It was really nice using this template and having no colour limitations. The the girls is from a acrylic set form Hero arts. The paper and buttons are form Cosmic Cricket Material Girl. Went to a craft show in brisbane yeasterday and came home with quite alot in my goodie bag. One things was this lovely stamp from Hero Arts and its called In the Garden. How cute is it.

The background paper is cosmic cricket and I used the butterfly template in my cuttlebug for the background. The paper flowers are from Hero arts. Have to go don't usually stamp in the mornings usually have too much to do but this mornng I couldn't resist.

OOHHH These colours are very retro so I tried to keep that theme. The cosmo cricket Material girl paper made thet very easy. Took me a while t decide what stamp set to use to keep with the theme and cupcakes it was. The buttons are also Cosmic Cricket. Enjoy thanks for looking.

The colour throwdown colour was perfect this week. I just bought the Material Girl paper from Cosmoc Cricket and it has worked perfectly with the colours. I love this paper so much I put a order in a two peas and I have just about paid more in postage than the paper. I don't care it's gorgeous. I have a few little girl's birthdays coming up so I am starting to make a few and put them away. The stamp is hero arts girl holding flowers and coloured them with copic markers. The cardstock is from stampin up and the paer is from cosmic cricket.

This card is a different size as I would normally do. I used the lace backgroung stamp from hero arts and colour it with copic markers. Then place it under chocolate chipcardstock then placed it onto old olive and finished it off with ribbon from American Crafts. My girls were mucking around while I was taking the phot so they wanted to join in. This stamp is from Hero arts. I embossed it with white embossing powder then coloured it using stampin up markers. The copic markers just didn't cut it with the emcossing. Wasn't sure how to add the burgundy so I put it underneath and I think it set it off nicely. You can try the colour throwdown for yourself it is heaps of fun.

This weeks colours were lovely at this weeks colour throwdown would have never thought to use this combination. It has a spring feel even though it is very hot here is Australia at the moment. I did use my new best friend the copics to colour in the butterfly. This is a window type card hope the photos pick that up.

Okay it is raining here and I wanted to post this so sorry about the photo. This is for my niece who is turning 6 soon. I love these colours we had to use
Kraft, Soft sky and pink pirouette.

I love this girl stamp from hero Arts. I colour her with copic markers and used foam tape. I then cut the circles out with my nestabilities and the ribbon is from American Crafts. Have a good day everyone.

Okay I missed the deadline last week however here is my entry for this week. I embossed the flower with white embossing powder then sponged on the Baja breeze. I used the cuttlebug on the elegant eggplant and here is the result. Glad it;s friday after a crazy first week back to school.

I have been just been spoilt by my husband as he gave me some money for a cuttle bug so I have been having a lovely time. How good are the nessatibilities perfect cut evrytime. I embossed the so saffron with the cuttle bug. Because they are spring colours decided to go with butterflies. The stamp set is garden whimsy. I think I might give this card is my 10year old daughter. Back to school tomorow after seven weeks off.

Got my order from two peas this week. Everything is a little cheaper over in America compared to Australia however the postage is a bit of a killer. Anyway I had to get the wooden hero arts stamps with the girls on it. They are so cute expect to see them in every challenge for a few weeks I love them. I colour the girl in with a blender pen and ink all from stampin up. Took a little practise happy with the outcome I still need to play a liitle more though. Waiting on a order for copic markers from Japan can't wait. Tried to match the colours best I could. The flower is also from Hero arts. Okay have to go was at the beach yesterday and now we are off to movie world (theme park:)

I was so surprised to see that Kristina has put a clour challenge up. Thank you Kristina you spoil us so much already with all your videos twice a week plus all the other things you post to inspire us. Anyway there were six colours to use. Okay this is my first Colour throwdown. This photo is taken at night however I promise I used Regal rose just couldn't get the best light. We don't have the colour dustydurango so I used really rust instead. The stamp set is from Hero arts called cicles circles ( i think) It was so good doing a colour challenge haven't done one in a very long time. Cleaning out my craft room and putting in a few orders for more supplies. So looking forward to a using some new things in upcoming challengess..Okay bye for now

Okay here we go another Mojo Monday. This card became quite painful. For some reason I couldn't get a good circle cut out of my Fiskars curcle Cutting System. There must be a easier system out there. Anyway I am happy with the outcome. The Paper and cardstock is from Stampin up and the Stamp set is From Hero Arts. I love this set I use it all the time. Enjoy :)

I have at least five teacher gifts to make. Made Bags from the template of papertry Ink. And inside I put in five balank Christmas cards, a note book (zutter) a pen and paperclip. The teachers seemed to like them a lot. Something different.

Over the holidays I finally had my own craft space and got into the mood of Christmas in July. I did some embossing onto vellum then put acetate over the top.

I recently had a stampin up party so of course I got some
great news things to play with. A stamp set I did receive was 5th Avenue floral. I love this rose. I embossed with
white then coloured with rose red then clear embossed over the top. This card took me a long time
I did struggle with the colours. Another thing I got from my party was the scallop punch which
I am still getting use to...
